On the afternoon of October 28^th, 27 students took part in the orienteering organized by the international department of school of economics at Jiangwan campus, including 14 Chinese students, 7 foreign students and 6 staffs of the international department.

The weather is sunny and everyone had a high spirit. All the students gathered at the gate of Jiangwan campus. 21 students are willingly divided into 3 teams which are named as“the goddess” “dou zhi dao”and“Xuzhou yexiao”. Each team got a task description and a map. Then the game started.

We had eight mission spots in the orienteering and there was no order. So each team made their plans and finished the tasks one by one. The eight mission spots consisted of“interesting Q&A”,“looking for books”,”solitaire lyrics”,“you throw and I catch”,“guessing idioms”,“finding all night self-study classroom”,“group photo”and“the terminal reward”. Finishing all these tasks demands players’ manipulative ability, elaborative faculty, imagination and the most important team work ability. In the mission“interesting Q&A”, each team did a great job with all kinds of knowledge. In the following tasks which were“looking for books”and“finding all night self-study classroom”, everyone tried their best to get the tasks done as soon as possible. During the task of“solitaire lyrics”, three teams chose the same song that was very tacit. The most difficult task may be“guessing idioms”since it requires the understanding of some Chinese traditional idioms and high team chemistry. Thus, neither of three teams got full scores. The“group photo”was really interesting for every student had to jump high beside the rock which records school motto. The camera recorded the extremely happy moment.

Ultimately,“Xuzhou yexiao”became the champion,“the goddess”ranked second and“dou zhi dao”ranked third. Everyone received a meaningful prize.

After the orienteering, all of the students gathered on the lawn and chatted with each other about different culture. Therefore everyone broadened their horizons and forged profound friendship.

Thus, in this activity students got not only the chance of enjoying beautiful scenery of Jiangwan campus but also the improvement of their ability and pure friendship. Students’ bright smiling faces became the most glittering scene.
