Introduction

‘Winter School @ Fudan SOE 2022’ is held by the School of Economics of Fudan University, providing 13 courses taught in English and covering economics, finance, marketing, sociology, etc. By tapping into the world-class resources of Fudan University, we aim to bring you an exciting and enriching winter!

Program Duration

December 19, 2022 - January 8, 2023

*The courses will run normally on New Year's Day holiday.

Eligibility

Applicants over 18 years old who are interested in the courses offered*.

Teaching Method

Online only (Live)*

*According to the current local COVID-19 situation as well as the epidemic prevention and control measures of Shanghai and Fudan University, six face-to-face courses are moved to online instruction. That is to say, all 13 courses will be delivered online via Zoom synchronously. Please check the course list below for details.

Assessment

Assessment is decided by the course instructor.

Certificate

After successful completion of the program, applicants will earn the certificate and transcript issued by School of Economics, Fudan University (non-degree education).

How to apply

Application deadline: 23:59, December 4, 2022

For Chinese applicants (including Chinese citizens from China’s mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan):

·         Apply via http://register.fudan.edu.cn/

·         Create an account and search program name “Winter School @ Fudan SOE 2022 -Application” in English version. Then, click “Apply” to fill in the application and upload the supporting documents.

·         After submitting the application, applicants will be notified to pay the application fee (CNY 400) by email.

·         The online application cannot be processed or reviewed by Program Office unless the application fee has been paid.

·         Once admitted, applicants will receive an admission notice with the tuition payment information and course enrollment guide.

For International applicants holding a foreign passport:

·         Apply via http://admission.iso.fudan.edu.cn/

·         Program Code: 227366

·         Create an account and complete the online application. Applicants need to upload supporting documents and pay an application fee of CNY 400.

·         Once pre-admitted, applicants will receive the course enrollment email.

·         Once officially admitted by the International Student Office of Fudan University, applicants will receive the admission notice with tuition payment information included.

* Please note that there will be NO VISA documents issued by the University for international travelling since all courses are delivered online.

Course Enrollment 

·         Students can take up to 2 courses.

·         Deadline for Course Enrollment: 23:59, December 7, 2022

·         If applicants submit the course enrollment questionnaire more than once, the system will only take the most recent submission as final course enrollment.

·         Dropping, adding and changing courses will NOT be processed after the deadline.

·         Program office has the right to cancel the course with low enrollment.

Fee and Payment:

Payment Method: All payments should be made via Fudan Payment Service Platform.

Application Fee: CNY 400 per person (non-refundable)

Tuition: CNY 26,000 per person

Deadline for Tuition Payment: Tuition should be paid before the deadline notified in the admission notice. Otherwise, it will be deemed as withdrawal.

Refund Policy: Application fee is non-refundable unless the program is cancelled. And if the courses enrolled by applicants are cancelled by the program office, applicants can either enroll other courses to replace the cancelled ones, or withdraw from the program and request a full refund except the application fee.

Refund for ANY personal reasons (Beijing time):

·         50% of the tuition can be refunded if the request is made before 24:00, December 4, 2022.

·         25% of the tuition can be refunded if the request is made between 24:00, December 5 and 24:00 December 18, 2022.

·         No refund upon requests made after 24:00, December 18, 2022.

*All refund mentioned above does not include the bank charges and differences caused by exchange rate changes.
