Recently, Economics department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison is working with the Visiting International Students Program (VISP), https://visp.wisc.edu/ by providing several academic tracks for visiting students, starting next spring. For many students, especially those who plan to apply for graduate schools, this could be a good experience. If interested, students can check whether they had permission from Fudan to attend VISP before application, following the steps outlined here (https://visp.wisc.edu/path/) through the study abroad process.
1. The application deadline for spring 2019 is 10/22/2018.
2. Minimum requirement: TOEFL 80(iBT)/550(PBT), or IELTS 6.5
3. Total cost for a semester is around $26k.
4. Need to indicate that "I apply for the economics VISP track" during application process.
