Eleven subjects in the Top 100, three in the Top 50 and, for the first time, one in the Top 20 in the world: the University of Zurich performed well in the latest subject-specific QS Rankings.
In the annual subject-specific QS Rankings, top lists are compiled for individual disciplines. This year, a total of 36 subjects were evaluated at more than 3,500 universities worldwide. Once again, many of the University of Zurich’s degree courses also featured this year, with the medical disciplines leading the way. In 19th place, dentistry became its first subject to make the Top 20 in the world.Veterinary science (32nd) and medicine (45th) also ranked among the Top 50, and eight other degree courses, including linguistics,geography, biology and economics, were also named in the Top 100 for their subject.
