Dear students,
We regret to announce that School of Economics (SOE), Fudan University has made the difficult decision to cancel Summer Camp on Chinese Economy and Society 2020 due to the worldwide spread of COVID-19. We considered the option of moving it online, but then ruled it out as the offline experiences, especially the company visits and cultural activities, are the highlights of the Summer Camp, and students will miss them all in the online version.
We apologize for all inconvenience this may cause to you and we believe you’d understand that this is however a responsible decision for all.
For applicants who have already paid the application fee, Fudan University will start the refund process soon and no refund application is needed from the applicants. The refund amount will not include bank charges and differences caused by exchange rate changes.
GOOD NEWS is that Fudan SOE is going to hold an ONLINE summer school from July 6 - July 31 with 11 courses in economics, finance, management, and quantification as an alternative with more diversified choices.
For students who are still interested in the topic of Chinese economy, the new online summer school will offer course like China’s Modern Economy with two of the instructors from the original Summer Camp faculty.
