Eligibility:
- Open to both international and Chinese applicants;
- Open to applicants of ALL academic backgrounds;
- Applicants should be above 18 years of age with adequate English proficiency;
- Qualified high school students or professionals are also accepted.
Why this program?
China is now one of the leading political and economic powers in the world, and to know more about China has become a core curriculum for anyone who aims to be a future global leader. The Summer Camp on Chinese Economy and Society is a 2-week international summer program hosted by the School of Economics, Fudan University in every July since 2016. The program is tailored for applicants with ALL academic backgrounds who wish to acquire a deep and comprehensive knowledge of China within a short period, especially in the fields of China's economy, finance, business, society and culture.
In this immersive program, the applicants can expect:
1. Experience at a renowned institution: Fudan University (world #34, mainland China #3 - QS 2020)
2. Transcript with 3 Fudan credits (6-7.5 ECTS) upon successful completion
3. 13 insightful lectures by LEADING scholars in their respective fields to form a holistic picture of the Chinese economy and society
4. Global network with classmates of diverse backgrounds from all over the world

Fee
Application fee: 400 RMB/person (non-refundable)
Tuition: 15,000 RMB/person
Discount: 10% tuition discount (which means 13,500 RMB/person) for students from Fudan partner universities with valid university enrollment certificate.
Deadline for tuition payment: Tuition should be paid before the deadline notified in the admission notice. Otherwise it will be deemed as withdrawal.
Refund Policy:
Refund for any personal reasons (Beijing Time)
- 50% of the tuition can be refunded if the request is made before 24:00, June 4 2021.
- 25% of the tuition can be refunded if the request is made from 0:00, June 5 to 24:00, June 11, 2021.
- No refund upon requests made after 0:00 am June 11, 2021.
- All refund mentioned above does not include the bank charges and differences caused by exchange rate changes.

Application Process
Application deadline: 24:00, June 27, 2021, Beijing Time.
For applicants with Chinese passport (including Chinese citizens from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan): please apply through the application portal:https://www.wjx.cn/jq/103996883.aspx (Please fill in the online application form and upload the application materials). Upon submission of the online application, applicants will be notified by an email to pay the application fee (RMB400). It may take some time for the program office to generate the application fee email. Upon receipt of the application fee, the program office will start to review your application.
For applicants with foreign passport: please log onto http://admission.iso.fudan.edu.cn/, create an account and submit the application. The program code is 670777.
Once admitted, applicants will receive the admission notice with tuition fee payment information included.
Pay the tuition fee before the deadline notified in the admissions notice.
