On Jan. 19, 2013, the Alumni Service Center at the school organized an admission consultation for an audience of over 90, which was comprised of alumni and their children. First, Mr. Xu Hongbo, Vice Director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office at Fudan University, interpreted Fudan’s admission rules in 2013 and answered questions. Then Associate Professor Hu Hanjun from the School of Economics, Mr. Shen Jianhua, Director of the Undergraduate Office at the school, Ms. Yuan Lili from the Student Service Center of the school, made speeches providing useful tips regarding the following issues: how high school students should choose universities and majors, how parents and students can get mentally prepared for the college entrance exam, which problems undergraduate students may encounter and what parents can do about them, how Fudan’s alumni organizations provide additional help to the offspring of Fudan alumni after they enter Fudan. Afterwards the alumni took their children for a campus tour, remembering their old days in the beautiful campus scenery and telling their children about their stories at Fudan.
