On Jan. 9, 2013, the unveiling ceremony was held at Fuxuan Hotel for the internship program for professional degree Master students at Fudan University. Attendees include Prof. Lu Fang, Vice President of Fudan, Prof. Su Jinrong, Director of the Higher Education Department at Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Prof. Zhong Yang, Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Gu Yunshen, Executive Associate Dean of the Graduate School, and representatives from Bank of Shanghai, China Universal Asset Management Co., Ltd. and KPMG Consulting (China), the three companies that will build the internship program together with the school.
The school values its cooperation with the business community. So far the school has signed agreements with quite a few companies to set up internship programs with them. Some internship programs have already started with our professional degree students doing internship under the guidance of part-time supervisors at the institutions involved. The internship programs combine the advantages of both the school and the businesses so that resources in the business community can be incorporated into the training system of professional degree students, who, in addition to internship positions, will be provided with specialized lectures and practical courses delivered by professionals.
