Prof. Zhang Zhongxiang elected APPS fellow

 Prof. Zhang Zhongxiang has been elected Fellow of the Asia and the Pacific Policy Society due to his research work on energy, environment and climate change.

 

 APPS, registered in Australia, is an international association linking organizations and researchers in the Asia-Pacific region focusing on economics, political science, governance, development and environment. Some of its most famous fellows include Nobel laureate Prof. Joseph Stiglitz, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of World Bank Ms. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Prof. Ngaire Woods from Oxford University. Besides Prof. Zhang, the other two fellows from mainland China are Prof. Justin Yifu Lin, Honorary Dean of the National School of Development at Peking University and Prof. Fan Gang, Director of National Economic Research Institute.

 

Prof. Zhang is also the Chinese representative for EAERE, and co-editor of Economics and Policy Studies, International Journal of Ecological Economics & Statistics, International Journal of Global Energy Issues, International Journal of Public Policy.
