On April 3, 2014, Prof. François QUITTARD-PINON, Director of the Specialized Master in Quantitative Finance at EMLYON Business School, and Sabrina Woo, Managing Director Asian Campus, visited our school. They met with Prof. Liu Hongzhong, Academic Director of the master programs in finance, Prof. Yang Changjiang, Associate Dean in charge of postgraduate education, and Dr. Lu Hua, Director of professional master degree programs. They discussed various issues related to the Fudan-EMLYON Double Professional Mater Degree Program in Finance such as recruitment, courses, etc. Though several master students of finance from our school have been to EMLYON as exchange students and completed some finance courses there, the first cohort of the double-degree program, 5 students in total, will spend their first year of the two-year full-time program at EMLYON starting September this year, to be followed by one more year at Fudan School of Economics. The program aims to cultivate finance talents with an international perspective, a profound knowledge of finance theory and China’s financial system.
