On the evening of January 27th, 2014, a grand celebration for the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France was held in the Grand Palais in Paris. Prime Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault, Chinese Minister of Culture Cai Wu, Chinese Ambassador to France Zhai Jun and thousands of guests gathered together to celebrate this grand feast. As the organizers also invited Chinese students studying in various universities in France, Mr. Zhou Donghui, a Fudan student majoring in International Business who is currently studying in ESSCA, had the pleasure of attending the celebration.

The "China Night" began with the piano show of a Chinese young artist Wu Muye. There were many other wonderful performances, such as Shaolin martial arts, the dance of Chinese National Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet, a French singer singing Chinese song "Jasmine" and a Chinese singer singing French opera and so on. Many historical moments in the political, economic and cultural communication of the two countries for the past 50 years were presented on the large screen. It was indeed an unforgettable night!
