In May 2014, Prof. Hua Min was appointed member on the Committee for China’s 13th Five-Year Plan. The committee is the consulting body for the formulation and implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan of China and the members are appointed by the National Development and Reform Commission of China.
Prof. Hua Min is director of the Institute of World Economy and the Research Center on Energy Economics and Strategy at Fudan University. His research fields are international economics and world economy. He is also vice president of China Society of World Economics, consultant of the Shanghai Municipality, member of the Economic and Trade Policy Committee of the Ministry of Commerce. He engages in research on policy formulation and development planning, and frequency speaks at consulting conferences organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C., the Shanghai Municipal Government and other government organizations or businesses.
