The Ministry of Education has recently released the list of the 7th batch of college courses that it will finance as free open courses. “European Sovereign Debt Crisis”, taught by Prof. Ding Chun, is among the list. Between Oct. 2014 and Feb. 2015, the Ministry made altogether 158 courses available to society free of charge via Icourses, China Network Television, and NetEase as Chinese Universities’ Open Courses.
Prof. Ding’s course gives an in-depth analysis of European sovereign debts and the political, social, and economic circumstances behind the problems, so that students can understand the causes of the problems, their impact on China and how China should respond to them.
