On Oct 12^th, as one of the major contributors to “Transition Economy Theory”, professor Zhang Jun was conferred with the 7^th Innovative Economic Theory award along with Lin Yifu and Fan Gang.

In the past 20 years, professor Zhang Jun has committed himself to the theoretical and empirical research of “Transition Economy Theory” and made meaningful contributions in the field of transition economy. Professor Zhang is one of the Chinese economists who have conducted frontier research on the reform and transition of Chinese economy. He is also one of the Chinese economists who have cooperated with foreign scholars in the domain of Transition Economy.

The awarding ceremony will take place in Shenzhen on Nov 13^th.
