According to the latest bulletin of Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Education Development Foundation, 55 projects have been approved as the "Dawn" Program of 2016 and will receive financing from the commission and the foundation.

 

Associate Professor Gao Fan's project,  From Double Control to Double Decentralization: the Political Economy of Chinese Urban and Rural Economic Relations, is on the list. Due to this, he is honored as “Shanghai Dawn Scholar” of this year.

 

The "Dawn" Program, managed by Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Education Development Foundation, aims at funding associate professors and professor under 40 years of age in their research work.
