On the evening of July 29th, over 200 students attended the farewell party of Fudan International Summer Session 2016 in the grand ballroom of Crowne Plaza Fudan. The program was officially concluded after one month operation.
Prof. Dan Li, Director of International Programs Office of School of Economics, Fudan University, gave a farewell address at the party. The teacher representatives, Prof. Hai Yu from School of Social Development and Public Policy, Fudan University and Prof. Jeff South from Virginia Commonwealth University, USA
sent congratulations to the students for the successful completion of their studies. All the teachers expressed their warm welcome to the students for
visiting Fudan University, Shanghai and China again in the future.
The students enjoyed their party with talks and performances. 10 student representatives from different regions, universities and backgrounds stepped onto the floor and shared their intriguing learning and cultural experiences at the summer session.
The photo review projected on the screen reminded the students of memorable times that passed fast. They felt reluctant to leave.
“One month is just too short. It is better to extend the program to 6 weeks.”
“Shanghai is so big that there are still many places I have not explored.”
There were some students who planned to stay longer.
“I am going back to Fudan soon in August. So it is just a temporary separation from my Fudan friends.
As 18 students sang the song of Farewell, all the other students seized the last chance to take photos with teachers, teaching assistants, friends and said goodbye to each other.
