According to the latest bulletin of Chinese Social Science Net, Luo Changyuan, Associate Professor of SOE, is among the winners of the 7th Hu Sheng Youth Academic Award, because of his book, The Trend, Causes and Implications of Changes in the Share of Labor Income in China. This year's entries fell into the following fields: Economics, International Studies, Sociology, Politics, Law and Journalism. Prof. Luo's book is one of the two award-winners in economics, and the only award-winner from Fudan University.
Hu Sheng Youth Academic Award, administered by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is a national award for academic achievement made by young scholars in philosophy and social sciences. The award, given every three years, was initiated, donated and set up by the famous Chinese social scientist Hu Sheng in order to encourage the growth of talented youth in social sciences.
