On November 14th, postgraduate association in the School of Economics(PASE) held a dumpling party at the North canteen. This party is to encourage
foreign students to learn more about Chinese culture and strengthen the
communication between chinese and international students.
The party began at 5pm,members of PASE needed to teach the foreign
students how to make dumplings.The wrappers and the fillings were prepared
in advance. Many foreign students came with their Chinese buddies, so
it was also a great chance to make both sides know each other more.
Most Foreign students were familiar with dumplings,and they were glad to
make ones by themselves. To some of them, it was even their first time
making it. But it turned out not to be a hard job for them due to the patience
of Chinese students and the enthusiasm of themselves. During the party,
besides the happiness of making dumplings, the pleasure of making friends
and sharing different experiences also make the party enjoyable. Everyone
hopes that there would be more activities like this.
